Life changing course for parents about secure parent-child relationships.
We all want the best for our children. Our hope is that as our children grow, they will have healthy:
social skills and
meaningful, strong relationships.
Attachment research over the last 30 years has demonstrated that healthy infant-parent relationships are foundational to all of these things.
This 6 week evidence based program is based on decades of research into how secure child-parent relationships can be supported and strengthened.
This course provides you with a map for reading your child's emotional cues. It also guides you in managing and responding to your own emotional reactions/your child's intense emotions.
It supports you in promoting a 'no-nonsense kindness' approach to parenting, where parents are in charge, and children's emotional cues are read and responded to in a way that supports their social and emotional development.
The course is stimulating, engaging, and includes a mixture of video excerpts and group reflection/discussion.
Note: this course does not provide information about 'behaviour management', but instead focuses on understanding children's emotions and behaviours.
