Sarah Wood

Hi there, I'm Sarah, and I have worked professionally with many families over the past 12 years. My work with families/children/adolescents over the years has led me to focus on early childhood (0-5) as an important window for early intervention in families.

As a therapist/course facilitator, I provide a calm, relaxed, safe, non-judgmental, confidential space, where together, we can explore your hopes and concerns. I am trained in a range of evidence based approaches, and as such, I can work with you to find the right fit for you and your family.

My life changed forever when I myself became a parent. I am now a mother of 4 (including a surprise set of twins!!). As such, I can really relate to the madness and mayhem of family life. The sleep deprivation, the sheer exhaustion, and endless hours of work. I get the identity transition to parenting, and the way your relationship with your partner evolves through the highs and lows of family life. I readily admit to being an imperfect parent and strongly believe that children do not need us 'perfect', just willing to reflect on our struggles and learn through our experiences.
